2018 Save The Children Parade

Creative crafting skills were once again tested to the full as an enthusiastic core of Wimborne in Bloom volunteers braved the cold to decorate a float for the annual Wimborne Save The Children Parade.

This year's theme for the float was 'Winners - Gold'. Two hours and several dozen cable ties later, another foliage adorned masterpiece was ready to take its place within the parade. The rain held off until just before the start of the parade, then swept in on a strong wind from the south west. The rain eventually blew past and by the time our float reached the Town Square the sun was almost out once more.

Full marks for stoicism to the elves.
