WIMBORNE IN BLOOM Open Meeting Town Hall 1st October 7.30pm
Wimborne in Bloom was formed in November 1992 with the aim of beatifying the Town with colour and keeping it clean and tidy for all, residents, traders and visitors alike to enjoy.
For over 30 years we have provided the colour in the Flower Towers and Planters around the Town both in the summer and over the winter. In addition during the summer we have placed over 120 hanging baskets on shop premises in the main areas of the Town.
Wimborne in Bloom is a voluntary run Charity and we organise a number of fundraising events during the course of the year to fund our planting operation and the watering thereof during the summer period. We are indeed most grateful for the support we have received from so many over the years..
But we now face a major challenge if we are to continue into the future and this is where we need your help. New members are urgently needed and to this end an Open Meeting will take place on Thursday 1st October, 7.30pm in the Town Hall, 37 West Borough, Wimborne Minster to which all those interested in keeping Wimborne in Bloom alive are invited. Without your help the organisation will cease to survive. Can this be allowed to happen?
Please also spread the word that help is needed and encourage anyone interested to come along to the meeting to find out what is required.
